About Me
One of the bravest things you can do is ask for help.Life can sometimes feel like a path without direction, leaving you lost, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to turn. Maybe you are struggling with anxiety, depression, identity challenges, trauma, or grief. Whatever you are facing, know this: you do not have to navigate it alone.
I believe healing begins when we uncover your unique strengths, understand your challenges, and rediscover who you are. Therapy is not about fixing you; it is about walking alongside you as you create your own version of wellness and fulfillment.
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with over 3 years of experience working with individuals, families, young adults, adolescents, and older adults. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally informed. I often work with issues related to:
• Identity (including athletic identity)
• Immigration and acculturation
• Depression and anxiety
• Trauma
• Grief and loss
• Anger
• Racism, sexism, and xenophobia
As a first-generation Nigerian immigrant and former athlete, I bring lived experience into the room. I understand what it is like to feel lost in transition, to grieve a version of yourself, and to rebuild from uncertainty. My personal and professional journey has shaped my passion for helping others heal and thrive.
I use an eclectic, client-centered approach that includes CBT, DBT, Humanistic, Solution-Focused, and Holistic modalities that are always tailored to your specific needs.
If you are ready to begin your journey toward healing, self-discovery, and meaningful change, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
