About Me
My name is Sheri Murray and I am a Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT. I pride myself on my unique ability to empathize and treat the whole client with a holistic approach. I encourage my clients to get acquainted with themselves and discover their interests, hobbies, and likes as I feel this is important and key in moving forward in the progress of treatment. I have extended experiences working with individuals that suffer from relationship issues, addiction, legal issues, depression, personality disorders, anxiety, and trauma. I have worked with children, struggling with behavioral issues, ADHD and those with social and emotional challenges. I include the parents/caregivers in their child’s treatment to strengthen their relationship, support consistent progress and to support the parents learning new skills to manage challenges effectively.
I meet my client’s where they are at, cultivating a safe non-judgmental environment while assuring that the client maintains a significant level of autonomy is of significance. I am here as a support, that is ready to encourage clients to recognize the power they have within to heal, and to experience life in a healthy way on their terms. Primarily, pushing the development of coping skills to alleviate symptoms, both the client and I figure out what works best for them as we embark on this therapeutic journey together.
