About Me

I approach therapy with eagerness, curiosity, and a deep commitment to understanding your subjective experience; no matter your background, it’s brave to seek support, and I believe you deserve 100% empathy and compassion. I focus on sex and relationships (queer, kink, polyamory, open relationships, sexual dysfunction, communication), older adults, and disability. I am also interested in working with family members of those serving in the military.

I work best with clients who are ready to engage in meaningful reflection and explore difficult questions: if you’re ready to dig deep, I’m ready to meet you wherever you are. I practice Existential Therapy, exploring meaning, free will, and responsibility (Who are you? How do you want to live? What’s standing in your way?). I also engage with Solutions-Focused, Gestalt, Jungian, and Emotionally Focused therapy types.

Before joining the mental health field, I worked in roles as a sex educator, a biogeochemistry researcher, and a competitive climbing team coach. In my free time I weightlift, bake, and play piano.

I am currently a trainee in Marriage & Family Therapy/Professional Clinical Counseling working towards licensure. During in-person sessions, my Medical Alert Service Dog will be present– if you have questions or concerns about his presence, please reach out and I will be happy to discuss.
