About Me

“Taking care of yourself is not a selfish act.” -Leslie Knope

Taking the step to care for yourself can feel overwhelming, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to begin that process. I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California.

Drawing from my own marginalized identities and lived experiences, I’ve seen firsthand how difficult it can be to access affirming mental health care. These experiences guide my commitment to practicing with cultural humility, identity affirmation, and social justice at the heart of my work.

In therapy, I value empathy, curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and—when it feels right—a sense of humor. I draw from several approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Art Therapy. I believe therapy should fit each person’s unique needs, so I work with clients to find what feels most helpful for them.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with people from a wide range of backgrounds, identities, ages, and abilities. My experience includes providing individual, group, and couples therapy; leading mindfulness groups for children; facilitating enrichment programs for older adults; and offering crisis support through the National Crisis Text Line.

Some of the areas I work with include anxiety and mood disorders, relationship and family dynamics, identity exploration, sexuality-related concerns, and grief. I’m especially passionate about supporting the Latinx community, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and older adults. Above all, I see myself as a fellow traveler—someone walking alongside you as you navigate your own path toward healing and growth.
