About Me

"I never lose. I either win or learn." — Nelson Mandela

This powerful quote embodies my belief in viewing setbacks as opportunities for growth. I am an Trauma Focused and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist.

EMDR is a highly effective, research-backed approach that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer trigger the same emotional pain. I use EMDR not only with individuals healing from trauma, but also within couples therapy—helping partners release the emotional charge of past wounds so they can be fully present, break free from reactive cycles, and rebuild a deeper connection.

With distinct training I specialize in couples therapy. I help couples and individuals turn even the deepest relationship pain into opportunities for connection and growth. Specializing in Recurring conflict or communication breakdowns, Emotional disconnection, affair recovery, Attachment injuries, Intimacy and sexual challenges, Life transitions, and complex relationship trauma, I draw from advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with Dr. Sue Johnson, the Gottman Method, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

Trauma has a way of quietly dismantling our sense of safety, identity, and self-worth. My approach is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where we can process these wounds, uncover hidden patterns, and rebuild trust—both with yourself and with those you love.

EMDR helps reprocess painful memories so they no longer hold emotional power, freeing you to respond rather than react. Combined with EFT and Gottman interventions, this work allows couples to move past old cycles, heal attachment injuries, and experience deeper intimacy than ever before.

ADHD Couples Therapy

ADHD often looks very different in adults than in children, which means symptoms are frequently overlooked or misdiagnosed. My in-depth expertise allows me to recognize subtle signs—sometimes even in the first session—through cues such as body language, patterns of focus, or frustration that quickly turns into anger. ADHD has many subtle symptoms that are often missed during diagnosis, and that is where my specialty comes in. As someone who has both professional expertise and personal insight into ADHD, I understand its complexities in a deeply practical and compassionate way. I use multiple peer-reviewed assessments to provide a thorough evaluation, helping partners understand how ADHD may be shaping their relationship dynamics. From there, I guide couples in shifting the narrative—transforming the negative

connotations of a diagnosis into an appreciation for the strengths and unique qualities ADHD canbring to a relationship. My goal is to help couples reconnect, communicate more effectively, and allow the partner with ADHD to truly shine in their relationship.

Ethical Non-Monogamy and LGBTQ+ - Affirming Therapist

I am also trained in supporting couples in ethical non monogamy (ENM), helping partners navigate the unique dynamics, communication needs, and boundaries that come with consensual multi-partner relationships. I understand that the greatest challenges for many ENM couples often extend beyond the relationship itself—stemming from societal stigma, fear of judgment, or even professional and legal repercussions. These pressures can lead to secrecy, isolation, and difficulty finding truly affirming support. As an LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist, I intentionally create a safe, validating space that affirms diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and

relationship structures. My goal is to ensure every client feels fully seen, respected, and supported in living authentically, while strengthening trust, communication, and emotional safety within their relationships.
